What is the generic Christian view on equality?
A
- They believe in equality of all people
- Humans are created in God’s image, and perfect characteristics of God are reflected in all humans. Therefore, everyone has worth and value.
- Everyone should be equally respected regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, age or religion.

Why did Christian churches take time to advocate equality amongst people?
A
- Because various church members and institutions benefited from equality so there was no point in challenging cultural vies.
- E.g. they got a lot of wealth.
