A

W-3 sequences in different planes

T2 and T1 +/- contrast

Contraindications occur

Some people are claustrophobic which is a problem for the imaging

A

Usually done under local anaesthetic
Catheter introduced into femoral artery and tip positioned in to the carotid and vertebral

Small (0.1%-1%) chance of stroke
