Another exception can be found in auc 200. 5.3.11 winter ops ie if building is HiGHER than 3 stories then truck goes in first if snowing

1 Can more then two hand lines be operated from a pumper?

A

Whenever possible, the following guidelines should be followed:
- only 2 hand lines should be operated from a pumper
- the supply pumper in a relay op should not supply any handlines or large caliber streams
- the pumper supplying a LCS should not supply handlines.
IF EMERGENCY requires exceeding these guides, the supply OR operating pumper shall be augmented ASAP to ensure a positive water source and the IC shall be notified

CHARGE the line if possible. Hose is more susceptible to damage when it is uncharged than when it is charged BC the wheels tend separate the jacket from the rubber lining of dry hose .
