Citric Acid Cycle

A
  • Fuel - glycogen, fat
  • Pyruvate converted to Acetyl CoA
  • Acetyl joins with oxaloacetate to form citrate

  • NADH and FADH2 release H+ ions and electrons
  • H+ ions actively pumped across membrane
  • Electrons passed down series of complexes
