A

3 cun superior to the most prominent part of the medial malleolus, posterior to the tibia and ant to the achilles

Medial to lateral, posterior to the tibia at a depth of 1-1.5 cun

Parasympathetic switch, pain and inflammation of the medial aspect of the leg, problems with the tibialis post or flexor digitorum longus (shin splints), immune point for RA

SP 9 location, insertion and needle depth, use?

A

On the medial aspect of the leg, 2 cun below the medial joint line, posterior to the tibia

Perpendicular at a depth of 1-1.5 cun

Pain in the muscles of the leg, sprain, strain or arthritis of the medial aspect of the knee, tendonitis of the popliteal and plantaris

SP 10 location, insertion and needle depth, use?

A

When the knee is flexed, the point is 2 cun proximal to the patella, in line with the medial border of the patella on the bulge of the VMO

Perpendicular to the skin at a depth of 0.7-1.5 cun

SP 12 location, insertion and needle depth, use?

A

At the midpoint btw the ASIS and punic symphysis, inferior to the inguinal ligament and lat to the femoral art

Perpendicular to the skin, palpate for the femoral artery pulsation and insert just lateral at a depth of 1 - 1.5 cun

Impair hip flexion, sartorius, pectineus and quad dysfunction, ant hip joint pain, strain and inflammation, restriction, psoas bursitis, intermittent claudication, impaired arterial, venous of lymph circulation
