  1. Preterist - the book of Revelation was fulfilled during the first century, 70 A.D
  2. Historicist - Revelation was fulfilled in church history, primarily in Papel heresies
  3. Allegorist - Revelation is a picture of the ongoing war between Christ and evil
  4. Futurist - Revelation is primary yet to be fulfilled in the future

The final judgment

  • primarily refers to great white throne judgment (of the damned) but there is also judgment seat of Christ (for the redeemed)
  • final state
    • Annihilationism
