Though there are no longer apostles in the fullest sense, there are:

  • Prophets; speakers of God’s word; true pastors as well as others. True preaching when done right, is prophecy
  • Evangelists: soul winners; though all are commanded, some are particularly gifted
  • Pastor-teachers; self-explanatory. Greek text connects two
