A

Dittmar & Howard studied Body Dissatisfaction as a result of media exposure.

They found two mediators:

  1. the higher the exent women’s internalization of the thin ideal, the higher body dissatisfaction
  2. Social comparison: the higher, the higher dissatisfaction
