What’s the Logical Problem of evil?

A

If G is omnipotent he would be able too stop evil.
If G is omniscient he would know how to stop evil.
If G is benevolent he would want to stop evil.
If evil exists, these qualities of God, cannot exist alongside.
Known as the inconsistent triad.
If evil exists, God must be impotent, or malicious and lack any of those qualities.

What is the evidential problem of evil?

A

Asks whether the existence of evil constitutes evidence against the existence of god.
Shows that it is unlikely that such a being could exist in a world with so much suffering.
