WINDSHEAR WARNING - REACTIVE WINDSHEAR

IF AFTER V1

If windshear is detected , both PFDs display a "WINDSHEAR" message with a red flag. An associated aural WINDSHEAR alert sounds 3 times. If either the flight crew the WX system detects WINDSHEAR, apply the following recovery technique.

ABNORMAL V ALPHA PROT (OEB)

Not a required memory item but good to know

At anytime, with the speed above VLS if the A/C goes into a continuous nose down pitch rate that cannot be stopped with backward sidestick inputs, IMMEDIATELY APPLY:

  • ONE ADR KEEP ON
  • TWO ADRs TURN OFF

Same actions appy to Alpha Max covering Alpha Prot when in stable flight or Alpha Prot moves more than 30kts during manuveriing with the AP on and speedbakes retracted.
