Measuring the liquid water content and TAT

When is turned ON will use the bleed air to protect the core and the cowl of the engine ,the automatic function is inhibited on grd but the system can be turned ON manually
When the Engine Anti-Ice close automatically
During engine start
Bleed over temperature/ over pressure
Fire switch pulled or when a leak is detected
How does it work the WAI?
When icing conditions are detected the system automatically heat the mats on the slats in each wing simmetrically
Is the WAI inhibited?
Yes on grd below 75 kts
Can the WAI be shed?
Yes can be load shed for a max of 30 secs during high loads demand and will be done symmetrically not to lose aerodynamic stability
If the WAI switch is ON when the system turns ON?
Will turn ON the WAI whenever temperature are below 25 degrees
What happend to the maneuver margin when WAI EAI are turned ON?
With flaps extended it adjust the stick shacker logic and maneuver margin reduces,while with the flaps up no adjustment needed
When is inhibited the PACK INLET ANTI ICE
The pack inlet is inhibited on ground and with TAT above 10 degrees
What is the flight deck window heat system?
A system that protect the frontal window from anti-fogging and anti-ice while the side window have only anti fogging
How the probes are heated?
The probes are heated using electrical power when either engine is operating
