Jabrites believe that all actions are determined by Allah and that there is no free will - raises questions about suffering
Mutazilites believe humans have free will and therefore there is no predestination (Shi’a believe this)
Asharism believe that Allah created everything including actions but also created freewill so that people can choose their actions
