Section 144A Crimes Act 1961

(1) Everyone commits an offence who, being NZ citizen or resident, -
(a) does outside NZ, with or on a child (under 12), an act which Sub(2) applies
(b) does outside NZ, with or on a young person (under 16), an act which Sub(3) applies
(c) does outside NZ, with or on a person (under 18), an act which Sub(4) applies.

(2) If done in NZ, would be an offence:
(a) 132(1)
(b) 132(2)
(c) 132(3)

(3) If done in NZ, would be an offence:
(a) 134(1)
(b) 134(2)
(c) 134(3)

(4) Offence against Prostitution Reform Act 2003 (Under 18)
(5) Liable for for penalty specified in Sub (2) to (4)
