a national group tht emerges as a local or historical branch of an older and larger group eventually getting its own culture and identity
offshoot nation
a corporate grouo based on some shared cultural trait and finds itself in competition with other groups for wealth, power etc
ethnic group
the dispersion of social group from its historical homeland
diaspora
the organization and mobilization of groups and parties on the basis of shared cultural charcteristics
identity politics
the use of force and terror by a state government against its own people
state terrorism
