A

Omentum feels tight and stretched - omentum slackens off when it has been righted and duodenum starts to have ingesta passing through it

When does LDA usually occour?

A

Transition from dry to milking cow. Loss of foetus ^ space in abdomen. Diet changed. Overflow of VFAs from rumen -> paralysed abomasum. No one knows exactly.

A

Moves ventrally -> under abomasum -> torsion
