It shows the relationships between the inputs and outputs of a drainage basin system
What are the main parameters in a water budget graph?
Water surplus, Soil water utilization, Soil water recharge, potential evaporation and field capacity attained.
What is water surplus?
There is extra water in the system
What is Soil Water Utilization?
When evapotranspiration exceeds precipitation plants start to use up the water stored in the soil.
What is potential evaporation?
Potential evaporation is the most amount of water that could be evaporated as possible
What is Field Capacity Attained?
Field Capacity is the amount of soil moisture or water content held in the soil after excess water has drained away and the rate of downward movement has decreased.
