How is Vitamin E Absorbed/Digested?

A

1) Tocopherols and Tocotrienols (Natural) Vitamin E’s get their fatty acid removed by lipases, then as they enter the small intestine bile is released and 50% is absorbed by passive diffusion in the Jejunum
2) Once absorbed by the small intestine it is all packed into chylomicrons and sent to the liver
