A

O: S pubic ramus and A side of pubic symphysis
I: femur on M lip of middle 1/3 of linea aspera
Inn: A branch of obturator n. (L2-L4)
A: adduction and flexion of hip (up to 70 degrees) and extension of hip (past 80 degrees of flexion); stabilizes pelvis in coronal and sagittal planes

I: pectineal line and proximal 1/3 of M lip of linea aspera of femur
Inn: A branch of obturator n. (L2, L3)
A: adduction and flexion of hip (up to 70 degrees) and extension of hip (past 80 degrees of flexion); stabilizes pelvis in coronal and sagittal planes
