When are juror in a capital case sequestered?
A
In capital cases, absent exceptional circumstances or waiver by the parties, once jurors have retired for consideration of their verdict, they must be sequestered until they reach a verdict or have been discharged by the court.

When can a witness testify via closed-circuit tv?
A
While Florida does permit a witness at a delinquency hearing who would suffer emotional or mental harm due to the presence of the defendant child to testify via closed-circuit television, this provision only applies to a witness who is under the age of 16.
