Federal Financial Assistance

Gender Identity


Definition: A person whose household income is at or below the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services poverty guidelines.

Low-Income Level


Definition: Federal Financial Assistance rules that may require compliance with the Title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, Victims of Crime Act of 1984, or Violence Against Women Act of 1994.

Nondiscrimination Authorities


Definition: All of the operations of the Department as provided under law.

Program or Activity
