A

Value expectancy, the things you think you are going to get out of something, the idea that we use a cognitive-rational decision making process.

A

A primary construct in both the theory of reasoned action and the theory of planned behavior, which is composed of a person’s collective evaluation of the worth or overall value of performing any given health behavior. What do you think, how much do you care about that, how valuable is that to you? Cost vs. benefitsThe benefits of that behavior don’t have to be just health, any kind of outcome (social, financial) ex. Quitting smoking saves money-TRA (Att. Toward the behavior)

A

Primary predictor of behavior and the only one we measure or care about, About decisions that are influenced by our motivation (we can measure this on a scale, whether or not we decided to do something, how likely are we to believe we will engage in our behavior)-TRA
