It is the emptying of your bladder through the urethra

Through co-ordinated actions of the autonomic and somatic nervous systems

What are the effects of a full bladder during labour?
A
- Delayed descent of the presenting part
- Reduced efficiency of uterine contractions
- Pain
- Delayed delivery of the placenta
- Dribbling of urine with expulsive 2nd stage contractions
