Q

Landing Gear:

A

Fully retractable, hydrulically operated, tricycle landing gear.
Electrically activated and held by hydraulic pressure, plus spring load keep it locked down.
In case of loss electricts it cant be extended.
Emergency gear switch will release hydryulic pressure and gravity will allow the gear to extend.
remember to have gear selector down.
“squat switches” prevent retraction on ground
Do not stop during circling

Gear warning:
Load less then 25% on one or both.
Flaps ldg and gear retracted
Gear selected up on ground

2
Q

Gear warning

A

load less then 20% on one or both.
Flaps ldg and gear retracted
Gear selected up on ground

3
Q

Engine

A

TAE125 engines. Inline construction, 135 HP, 2300 RPM at sea level and isa. Max overspeed 2500 RP max 20 sec
Vandkølet, 4 cylinder, diecel-cycle engine with wet sump. Common-rail direct injection.
Turbocharger with intercooler. Up to 8000ft.
Digital engine control propeller governor
Use JETA or Diesel
2 oilsystem.

4
Q

Feathering the propeller

A

Shutting of the appropriate engine master switch
This open the electric governor and the oil will flow back.
speeds above 1300 RPM.
Loss of oil will feather propeller.

5
Q

Electrical system

A

28 volt(60amp) DC system
24 volt battery for starting engines.
non-rechargeable dry battery is installed as source for power for the attitude gyro and flood light. Start on Emergency switch, and supply for 1 hour and 30 min.
Sealed battery for 30 min to both engines.
External power 28V.

6
Q

Fuel system

A

2 tanks (left and right) each with 3 chambers. 2x26 USG. With 2x25 USG useable. (actually 25.4 us gal)
Fuel is transferred thoguht the commonrail by a LP pump and inside the commonrail a HP pump direct inject fuel into the cyinder. Leftover fuel is transferred back to the appropriate tank.
Aux. Fuel is has capacity of 13.7 USG per side and 13.2 useable.
Crossfeed options. If LH fuel selector valvi in crossfeed position, the fuel from the RH tank is transfed to the LH engine.
6 drains.

7
Q

Propeller

A
3-blade wooden propeller
Constant speed, feathering.
Pitch control ingtegrated into engine
Pitch control by gearbox oil.
Governor valve controlled by ECU
•	Oil pressure up – pitch down = RPM up
•	Oil pressure down = Pitch up = RPM down
Pressure accumulator.
This keeps the oil constant at the desired load, its connected to te gearbox oil circuit.
8
Q

Hydraulic

A

Parking brake: Apply pressure and pull parking brake. Hydraulic will keep brakes closed.
Hydraulic also used to operate landing gear.

9
Q

Landing gear light

A

Green light = gear down and locked
Red light = Gear neither down nor up
Gear held up hydralically
Emergency operation = free fall by releasing hydraulic

10
Q

Oxygen

A

Continous flow system, wit operation up to 18.000ft. Cylinder presure max 1850 psi and there is 4 cannulas(around nose) plus 1 mask. AFM to be used above 12.500 ft.
A diagram can tell for how long the oxygen is avaliable.
Cylinder Is placed in the nose and there are 3 outputs, 2 in front and 1 in back. Oxygen reader in the topr ight side of the cockpit.

11
Q

Deice

A
2 system with Fluid there lower freezing point. stored in a tank(minimum 5.8 US gal).
Spray nozzles (windshield, propeller)
Porous skin penels.
3 modes:
Norm: 2 pump 30 sec on 90 off
High: 1 pump continously
Max: 2 puimp on for 2 min.
Icelight
12
Q

Flight controls

A

The ailerons, elevator and wing flaps are operated through control rods, while the rudder is controlled by cables. The flaps are electrically operated. Elevator forces can be balanced by a trim tab on the elevator, wich is operated by a bowden cable(flexible cable). Rudder forces can be balanced by a trim tab on the rudder, which is also operated by a bowden cable.

13
Q

Autopilot

A
Maximum speed is 185 kias
Minimum speed is 90 kias
Altitudes for autopilot.
Cruise, climb, descent and maneuvering 800ft AGL
Apporach 130 kias or less 200 ft AGL
Approach above 130 kias 250 ft AGL
Departure 200 ft AGL
2 axis. Pitch and roll.
14
Q

Oil system

A
2 oil separate system
Lubrication system(engine and turbo charger)
•	Wet sump, separate cooler.
Lubricate Reduction gear and gearbox
•

Oil quantity per engine 4.5-6 liters.
Oil pressure 1.0-6.5 bar
Max oil consumption 0.1 liters/hr
Max restart altitude 6000ft 80-120 kias

15
Q

Oil fails

A

High pressure low temp: Engine about to go out
Low pressure high temp: Leak of oil
Low press and normal temp: Massive leave
Zero oil pressure may indicate a sensor failure, unless accompanied by dropping oil temperature.

16
Q

FADEC

A

A full authority digital engine
