What is the process of auto dysreflex

A

an initiating factor, usu full bladder, triggers sympathetic response in local area, this causes vasoconstriction leading to severe HTN, pale cool skin, and goose bumps. The body reads the high BP and triggers the heart to slow and vessels to dilate leading to sweating, HA and flushed skin, but the signal cant make it past the spot of injury so the half below the injury continues to increase sympathetic responses while the top continues parasym responses
