  1. Affective: emotions (e.g: anger, warmth), usually refers to negative emotions.
  2. Cognitive: Thoughts about the target based on stereotypes
  3. Behavioral: Action or behaviors towards targets.

What are the theories on what makes people prejudice?

A
  1. Biological: biological mechanisms to favor our own family, tribe or race & to express hostility towards others.
  2. Learned: Socially transmitted (via: parents, community, media) intentionally or unintentionally, instruct us to assign negative qualities and attributes to people who are different from us.
