Two firefighters trained to the Decon engine level. Officers and firefighters assigned to a primary company or a backup company shall receive 24 hours of hazardous materials Decon engine training. Tractor-trailer DSA’s require tractor-trailer train chauffers. When responding, the DSA shower responds with both the DSA and their regularly assigned apparatus. Company commanders are responsible to ensure that new members receive training in the deployment and operation of the DSA. The DSA should be subject of quarterly MUD‘s with both the assigned and back up units taking part
