What is Mediated Communication?

A Communication through some Medium

What is Non-Mediated Communication?

A Communication involving some sort of face-to-face Communication.

Types of Non-Mediated Communication:

Dyadic
- involving only one other person.

Small Group
- between 3-20 people.

- formal speech occasion

- logistical advantage; able to communicate to a large number of people

- communicate in a logical programmed sequence of ideas
