On the lower border of the med. condyle of the tibia, in the depression btwn. the ca. border of the tibia and the gastroc. m. (The pt. is found by following the back of the tibia prox. until it bends ca. just below the med. tibial condyle) (Knee)

A

When the stifle is flexed, the pt. is 2 fun prox. and med. to the patella (on a diagonal from the patella) in a depression just cr. to the 2nd BELLY OF THE SARTORIUS M. (The pt. is approx. 1 patellar length ca.) NOTE: it’s location is based on its relationship to the m. belly of the Sartorial m. and it’s relationship to the femur, and may change w/position and patient variation.
