Define: unsafe sexual behaviour

sexual acts in which bodily fluids such as sperm, vaginal fluids, saliva or blood are exchanged between 2 people through oral, vaginal or anal intercourse


What diseases must be reported to government data bases by professionals?

chlamydia and syphilis


What happens in chlamydia is untreated?

can lead to secondary infections and infertility.


what happens if syphilis is untreated?

may progress to a final stage in which complications can occur to the brain and heart, leading to death.


in what groups is syphilis most common in?

Indigenous Australians, men having sex with each other


what can unsafe sexual behaviour lead to?

STI's eg gonorrhoea, chlamydia, syphilis and HIV/AIDS
