multifidus, rotators, intertransversarii, interspinalis, iliocostals, longissimus, and spinalis
What muscles make up the erector spinae muscle group?
iliocostalis, longissimus, and spinalis
What deep back muscles originate on the transverse process?
multifidis, rotators, intertransversarii, longissimus
What deep back muscles originate on the spinous process?
interspinalis and spinalis
What deep back muscles originate on the ilium?
iliocostalis
What deep back muscles insert on the transverse process?
intertransversarii and longissimus
What deep back muscles insert on the spinous process?
multifidus, rotators, interspinalis, and spinalis
What deep back muscles insert on the lamina?
rotators
What deep back muscles insert on the ribs?
iliocostalis and longissimus
What innervates all deep back muscles EXCEPT intertransversarii?
spinal nerve dorsal rami
What innervates intertransversarii?
spinal nerve dorsal rami and ventral rami
What is the action of multifidus?
