Why is the Eucharist associated with forgiveness?
It represents the bod and blood of Christ and remembers the Last Supper when Jesus told his disciples that his blood was a covenant and stands for the forgiveness of sin.
What does salvation mean?
Being saved.
What do Christians believe about salvation?
That Jesus died on the cross to save people from their sins. His sacrifice means that by asking for forgiveness Jesus has guaranteed their ascension into heaven.
