Its the study of what's right and wrong
Includes what is legal and also what is allowed and not allowed according to codes of ethics and policies and procedures of that workplace.

Ethics of care:

actions that benefit an organization, but violates the law or other formal rules.
The ability to make choices and to act or not act on them.
A subset of a larger culture, with its own norms, values, beliefs, traditions and history.
The Harrison Narcotics Act
passed in 1914, was the United States’ first federal drug policy. The act restricted the manufacture and sale of marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and morphine. Strictly enforced, but mainly targeted physicians and pharmacists.
