On long straight stretches of line when visibility is clear trains can run at a max of 50mph.
On stretches with bend or poor visibility as low as 5mph

A

At the end of the incident the IC should give the plans to the LUL station supervisor for safe keeping until the box is repaired. This should be done within 24hours and we should check to make sure this has been done.

Not straight away! The trains can coast long distances and diesel trains will not be affected

We shouldn’t, but it considered inevitable that in some occasions the use of brigade lookouts may be required.
