what happened at the meeting at Albany (Albany Plan of Union)? How did the King of England respond

all 13 states met in Albany NY, to discuss taxes, education, welfare, etc. Ben franklin suggested that all colonies send a delegate once a year to discuss problems or needs. The King and colonies didn't like the idea and rejected it

Royal colonies were under super vision by the King because of a certain reason (Virginia> not profitable). The king would appoint a governor and council to keep an eye on them. The colonies thought that the governor was too close with the king. It was necessary because he could keep them on track
