Define a psychopath

A

A personality disorder defined by a collection of interpersonal,affective and behavioural characteristics. eg.manipulation, lack of remorse or empathy, impulsivity, antisocial behaviour

How is psychopathy distinct from Antisocial Personality Disorder (APD)?

A

APD include behavioural component of psychopathy only. Pyschopathy includes behavioural,interpersonal and affective components.
While most felons who are psychopaths fit the APD description, not all APD people are psychopaths.
