How do you calculate displacement ?

A

The change in displacement is the final distance minus the initial distance

Calculated from a Distance/Time graph: For a straight line graph it is the average slope of the line that bisects the time in question. For a curved line graph it is the slope at the specified time, solved by using Pythagoras’ Theorem.

A

The magnitude and direction of the acceleration of a system are solely determined by the exterior forces acting on the system.

If the magnitude of these forces is constant, the magnitude of the accelereation will be constant, which results in uniformly accelerated motion.
