Describe the features of the Assembly.

A

The Assembly met once a year.
The Assembly consisted of all members of the League of Nations.
The Assembly met in Geneva, Switzerland.
The Assembly had the power to admit new members an elect permanent members to the Council.

Describe the features of the Council.

A

The Council met 3 times a year and would meet if there was an emergency.
The Council consisted of 5 permanent members: Britain, France, Japan, Italy and Germany (after 1926) and consisted of 4 temporary members.
The 4 temporary members were elected for 3 years at at time.

Describe the Permanent Court of International Justice

A

It consisted of judges from the legal systems of the nations who were members of the League of Nations.
If 2 countries asked for a solution to a dispute, it’d give one but it had no power to enforce any decisions
