Basic Weight

Basic Weight is the weight of the aircraft and all its basic equipment, plus that of the declared quantity of unusable fuel and unusable oil.

Basic Equipment is the inconsumable fluids, and the equipment which is common to all roles for which the operator intends to use the aircraft.

Variable Load is the weight of the crew, of items such as the crew's baggage , removable units, and other equipment the  carriage of which the operator intends to use the aircraft for the particular flight
