LU 2 location, insertion and needle depth, use?

A

Medial to the coracoid process, inferior to the clavicle fossa, 6 cun lateral to midline.

Insertion: Ant to post, slightly medial to lateral and superior at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cun.

Myofascial pain, inflammation, and restriction of pec major and minor, AC joint separation and frozen shoulder

LU 3 location, insertion and needle depth, use?

A

Anterolateral aspect of the arm, 3 cun below the axillary fold, in the groove between the biceps and the humerus.

Insertion: radial to ulnar on a horizontal plane at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cun

A

Transverse cubital crease on the lateral aspect of the bicipital aponeurosis

Insertion: intra articular, perpendicular at a depth of 0.5 to 1 cun

OA and RA of the elbow, tendinitis of supinator, anconeus, brachioradialis, ECRL, ECRB

A

1.5 cun proximal to the radiocarpal joint (LI5), on the radial side of the radial styloid process proximal to the insertion of the brachioradialis muscle

Insertion: Oblique, proximal to distal at a depth of 0.3 - 0.5 cun
