How do you form the conditional?

A

The conditional is formed with the future stem and the conditional endings:

  • ei
  • esti
  • ebbe
  • emmo
  • este
  • ebbero

Conjugate abitare in the conditional.

A

Reminder: the future form (the base of the conditional) drops the final -e from the infinitive. -are verbs use an ‘e’ in place of the ‘a’.
