Q

what are the 4 stages of eye movements

A

light enters eye and is focused on fovea
we move our eyes to view our environment
when our eye stops, fixation occurs
eye movements are saccades where no visual info is extracted

Q

so how do we actually see

A

light passes through pupil and lens where it is focused on to the retina. The retina turns it into an electrical impulse where it travels to the brain via the optic nerve
