1

What’s the harder process word equation:

Ammonia + oxygen —> nitric acid + water
Then
Ammonia + nitric acid —> ammonia nitrate
Or
Ammonia + sulphuric acid —> ammonia sulphate.

2

The harber process symbol equation:

NH3 + O2 —> HNO3 + H2O
Then
NH3 + HNO3 —> NH4NO3
Or
2NH3 + H2SO4 —> 2(NH4)SO4

3

What factors help to shift the equilibria?

- temperature
- pressure
- concentration.

4

What is a dynamic equilibrium?

Where the forwards reaction is the same rate as the backwards one.

5

When you increase temperature

You shift the equilibrium to the ENDOTHERMIC direction.

6

When you increase the pressure the equilibrium:

Shits to the EXOTHERMIC direction.

7

With increasing Concentration the equilibrium...

Shifts equilibrium towards the products.
