A

Jesus taught that God was like a loving father. God is also described as a fair judge. It is a central part of the Christian religion that God is always good.

A

God reveals Himself/makes Himself known through:

  • The Bible (God’s word, General Revelation)
  • Religious Experience (God may have spoken to someone in prayers or dreams, or through a direct special revelation, e.g. St Paul)
  • Natural World (The beauty in God’s creation such as sunsets)
  • Miracles (Many people claim to have experienced miracles/things which only God could do)
  • Conscience (A person’s conscience is their inner sense of right and wrong. Christians see this as the voice of God within the soul.)

A

So many things in our world are complicated designs (e.g. the human brain) - there must be a God to create these things.

A

Something causes everything to happen. Things don’t happen for no reason, something makes it happen. God is what caused the Universe, Earth and so on.
