Why is Folk Culture generally less popular with the public?
A
An understanding of a communities history is required to get involved and they often take place in rural areas making them less accessible to the general public.
Their meanings can often be dismissed as pointless or old, having minimal relevance to the modern world although many of our contemporary celebrations originate from Folk Cultural practices.
