A

A

A

Higher temperature than flashpoint, the temperature at which vapour continues to burn after being ignited

A

Re-ignition of a flammable liquid caused by exposure of vapour to source of ignition

What is a boil over?

A

hot oil sinks and if it then meets water then superheated steam is created. This steam explosion and send burning oil and vapour to a height 10 times greater than the tank diameter
