A
- Aspiration of asymptomatic breast cyst.
- Aspiration of an atypical cyst after ultrasound examination for diagnostic purposes.
- Aspiration and drainage of an abscess
- sampling of new mass in a young woman
- sampling an enlarged axillary lymph node

what are the possible complications of fine needle aspiration?
A
- Minimal bleeding and bruising
- minimal risk of infection.
- breast pain
- Pneumothorax is an extremely rare
- Breast implant perforation is rare
- Epithelium displacement and tumour cell dissemination*
