CV1* Locations
In the depression on the midline halfway btwn. the anus and scrotum or vulva. CELINE DION PT.
CV1* Indications
Perianal prob., dysuria, infertility, epilepsy.
CV3* Locations
On vent. midline, 4 run ca. to the umbilicus. Caution when needling CV points on the venturm for concerns of abdominal puncture.
CV3* Indications
Front-mu (Alarm pt.) pf L. Dysuria, RFm impotence, hernia, genital itching.
CV4* Locations
On the ventral midline, 3 sun ca. to the umbilicus. Caution when needling CV points on the ventrum for concern of abdominal puncture.
CV4* Indications
Front-mu (alarm pt.) for SI. KID Qi or Yang tonic, RF, impotence, hernia, colic D+, loss of BW.
CV5* Locations
On the ventral midline, 2 cun ca. to the umbilicus. Caution when needling CV points on the ventrum for concern of abdominal puncture.
CV5* Indications
Front-mu (Alarm pt.) for TH. Dysuria, edema, D+, Hernia, colic genital discharge
CV6* Locations
On the ventral midline, 1.5 can ca. to the umbilicus. Caution when needling CV points on the ventrum for concern of abdominal puncture.
CV6* Indications
KID Qi or Yang tonic, RF, impotence, hernia colic, D+, loss of BW. CV8 = umbilicus, but isn’t nec. to know.
CV12** Locations
On the ventral midline, 1/2 way btwn. the umbilicus and the xiphoid process. Caution when needling CV points on the ventrum for concern of abdominal puncture.
CV12** Indications
Influential pt. for Yang (Fu) organs, Front-mu (Alarm pt.) for the ST. Gastric pain/ulcer, V+, regurg. D+, Jaundice.
CV14** Locations
On the ventral midline 1/2 way btwn. CV12 and the xiphoid process (3/4 the distance from the umbilicus towards the diploid process).
CV14** Indications
Front-mu (Alarm pt) for Hear. Anxiety palpation, Shen disturbances V+, epilepsy.
CV17** Locations
On the ventral midline in a depression at the level of the 4th intercostal space. Caution when needling CV points on the chest area concern of pneumothorax.
