A

between the internal intercostal m. and the innermost intercostal m. at the inferior border of the superior rib sending collaterals to the superior border of the inferior rib, thus aim for dead center when sticking something between the ribs

(when looking into the chest wall, if you see the NV bundle, no innermosts are present, but once they dive behind a structure if it’s only passing from on rib to the next, it’s an innermost)
