What are primary reinforcers?

basic needs. Food, water, sex etc...


what are conditioned reinforcers?

Not a primary reinforcer
A consequent stimulus that acquires reinforcing properties during the lifetime of the organism.
Organisms use conditioned reinforcers to predict the imminent delivery of another reinforcer.


How is a conditioned reinforcer created?

Start with a neutral stimulus:pair the neutral stimulus with a backup reinforcer.


What are generalized conditioned reinforcers?

When things that are similar to the conditioned reinforcer emit the same response. (little albert)
