5.3 Notification

The MDTA Crisis Negotiations Team (CNT) will be notified, through the on-call detective, in all cases involving life- threatening situation, such as barricaded subjects, subjects threatening suicide, hostage situations and aircraft hijacking

5.4 Notification- CISM

The detachment commander will immediately notify the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) coordinator of all line of duty deaths, investigation or response to the deaths of sworn employees, and officer involved shootings

6.4 Detention

If prisoners are held for longer than 6 hours, the Shift Supervisor will ensure they receive a meal. Meals will be obtained using approved MDTA Meal Chit at MDTA approved food service establishments
